Hello! I’m Jen Liepis, and I’m excited to be running for the Oak Hill Board of Commissioners.

I’m an Ohio native and have lived in Oak Hill for seven years. I currently serve as the Vice Chair of the Planning Commission through which I’ve developed an in-depth understanding of Oak Hill’s code and am deeply invested in strengthening codes to maintain the quality of life Oak Hill residents have come to expect and appreciate. I recently took over the Oak Hill Newsletter and am working to establish additional communication channels to create a sense of community and to better connect the City of Oak Hill with residents. I also volunteer as a Root Nashville Tree Captain for Oak Hill, providing residents with access to free trees.

I have 20+ years of experience as an entrepreneur working across sectors, including non-profit and for-profit businesses. My experience spans marketing & communications, strategic planning, project management, and grant writing.

I believe these experiences have prepared me to be a thoughtful and informed commissioner and have enabled me to contribute a different perspective to the BOC. I kindly ask for your vote on August 6, 2026. I look forward to serving our community.
